Westminster Man Struck by Car, Dies

LOS ALAMITOS — A 78-year-old Westminster man died Wednesday after he was hit by a car while crossing a street, police said.
Morrel Meisner was hit about 12:45 p.m. as he walked across Los Alamitos Boulevard, south of Katella Avenue, police said.
He was flown by helicopter to Long Beach Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries a short time later.
