There’s a wonderful bit of Chinese wisdom I wish Kitty Kelley had been taught before she wrote her book on the Reagans (Commentary, April 12):
Before you say anything about anyone, let your words pass through three gates:
Is it kind? Is it true? Is it necessary?
But then there wouldn’t have been a book, would there?
