Mail Boxes to Open Mexico Franchises

Mail Boxes Etc. has signed an agreement with the government of Mexico giving it the right to sell postal service agency franchises, a deal that could lead to 80 Mail Boxes Etc. de Mexico franchises opening in that country over the next year or two.
The Mail Boxes Etc. agreement is the first granted by Mexico to an outside postal agent.
Mail Boxes Etc., is a certified mail handler with more than 1,400 franchises in the U.S., Canada and Japan. The company recently signed a similar contract with the government of Spain, opening the way for franchises there.
