WHAT’S UP, LASORDA? Sylvester the cat wears a Baltimore Orioles uniform; Bugs Bunny is a Dodger. Chuck Jones of Costa Mesa, 78-year-old creator of the Looney Tunes characters, drew three sets of 99 cards showing the characters wearing baseball uniforms. Yorba Linda trading card maker Upper Deck produced them. . . . Jones’ granddaughter, Valerie, says the cartoonist is “excited” about having his cartoons on trading cards. A second set of cards goes on sale in September.
