U.S. Seizes 5,600 Pounds of Cocaine Off Colombia

MIAMI — A U.S. interdiction team seized more than 5,600 pounds of cocaine from a fishing boat off the Colombian coast after the Honduran government denied the vessel’s claim of Honduran registration, the Coast Guard said Sunday. The seizure last week was the largest ever for a joint U.S. Coast Guard and Navy team.
