Son Returns: The 9-year-old son of comedian David Brenner surfaced Wednesday morning with his mother at a Manhattan courthouse, a week after both vanished in the latest twist of a bitter custody battle. Charisse Brody, who fled last week with her son Cole, will not face civil or criminal charges. But Cole will remain with his father pending a permanent custody hearing next month.
