But she has led the dance drill team from the MacArthur Fundamental Intermediate School in Santa Ana to two straight national championships and just got word that they’ve been invited to perform at the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day. . . . She’s a secretary at the school who volunteered to take the team over five years ago. How does a non-dancer do it? “Very carefully,” she jokes.
