Estate Wars: The widow and children of reggae singer Bob Marley plan to outbid recording giant MCA’s $15-million offer for his estate and song rights, a family spokesman said Saturday. The spokesman said that Marley’s widow, Rita, and his children would present their bid at a Jamaican court hearing set for Dec. 18 to resolve a decade-long battle over Marley’s songs. On Friday, a Jamaican trustee for the estate said he had prepared a draft contract to sell it to MCA. Marley died 10 years ago without leaving a will.
