400th Clothestime: The Clothestime women’s discount apparel chain has opened its 400th store.
The Anaheim-based chain is riding high despite the recession and plans to have 404 stores by the end of the year. The 400th store opened late last month in Tampa, Fla., one of 44 stores the chain operates in that state.
The company continues a major expansion in Florida, having opened stores in Orlando and Miami earlier in October and three more scheduled.
“Florida’s warm climate and fashion-forward women make it an ideal market for Clothestime,” said Jeff Dake , the chain’s director of real estate.
