OXNARD : Man Found Dead in Ravine Identified

Ventura County coroner’s investigators have identified a man whose body was found in a ravine off California 118 north of Camarillo as Israel Perez of Oxnard, authorities said Wednesday.
Perez, 45, was employed by Lucky Farms in Oxnard and has no known relatives, Deputy Coroner Zelmira Isaac said.
In an autopsy Wednesday, investigators determined that head trauma was the cause of death, but they are still investigating the manner in which Perez died, Isaac said. She did not know whether foul play was involved.
