Man Shot to Death During Argument

A man was shot and killed Wednesday, apparently during an argument with a friend, San Diego police said.
The victim, who had not been identified, was shot once in the heart, Officer Mark McCullough said. He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he died.
According to police, the two men were arguing at about 3 p.m. in the street in front of a house in the 3200 block of Euclid Avenue. The dead man was shot with a small-caliber automatic weapon.
The gunman, whose identity was not known, fled. No further details were available.
