Woman Injured in El Toro Road Crash

MISSION VIEJO — A head-on collision on winding El Toro Road injured a woman Wednesday afternoon and forced closure of the road for about an hour.
At about 4:20 p.m., Linda Mull of Trabuco Canyon was driving east when she signaled a right turn at Marguerite Parkway, Sheriff’s Lt. Jay Mendez said. A pickup truck apparently rear-ended Mull’s car and pushed it into opposing traffic, where Mull’s Toyota then collided head on with another pickup, he said.
She received foot and leg injuries and was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, he said.
The drivers of the trucks were unhurt, Mendez said.
