Battle Fox Wins Aqueduct Feature

NEW YORK — Battle Fox took the lead in the stretch and went on to a one-length victory in the Never Bow purse at Aqueduct on Wednesday.
The winner, carrying 117 pounds, was ridden by Jorge Chavez in the race for 3-year-olds and up.
Share The Glory, 115, the favorite in the six-horse field, put on a late rush to take second place. Three Chopt Road, 117, was third.
Battle Fox covered the 1 1/8-miles in 1:49 1/5 to get his third victory in 19 starts this year.
He returned $7, $3.40 and $3.
