A Lancaster woman was killed and her two children injured early Thursday when her car drifted off the road and rolled over three times, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
Carolyn King, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene on Avenue F near 25th Street West in Lancaster. Deputies said King’s station wagon rolled over when she tried to steer the car back onto the roadway about 7:20 a.m. No other vehicle was involved, deputies said.
King’s children--Michael Jr., 13, and Debra, 10--were treated for minor injuries at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center and later released, a hospital spokeswoman said. Deputies said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
