John Dreyer has been named vice president of corporate communications for Burbank-based Walt Disney Co.
Dreyer, a career communications specialist, was formerly manager of press and publicity for the Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
In his new role, he will share duties as a company spokesman and responsibility for media relations, executive communications and the company’s quarterly and annual reports with Thomas J. Deegan, who continues as a vice president of corporate communications.
