Urs Karrer of Switzerland won gold medals in the men’s slalom and the combined on the last day of Alpine competition at the World Winter University Games at Zakopane, Poland. Skip Merrick of Ketchum, Ida., winner of the gold medal in Wednesday’s giant slalom, was disqualified after missing the last gate in the first run.
