9 Freeze to Death in Russia

MOSCOW — Nine people froze to death in the central Russian region of Chuvashia over the weekend as strong, biting winds accompanied a sharp fall in temperature, the Itar-Tass news agency said Sunday. Tass did not say how low the temperature fell.
