“The Bodyguard” soundtrack continues to dominate the pop chart, but the big news is that Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” was finally bumped out of the top spot on the pop singles chart, after a record 14-week run. The new champ is “A Whole New World,” by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle. Michael Jackson’s revitalized “Dangerous” is still on the rise, returning to the Top 10--at No. 10. Rapper 2 PAC’s controversially titled “Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.AZ. . .” debuted at No. 24.
* Snow is hot. The white dancehall reggae star has a Top 5 single, “Informer,” which is powering his first album, “12 Inches of Snow.” It jumped from No. 41 to No. 26 and seems headed for the Top 10.
