Sears Roebuck & Co., the Chicago-based retailer, said that on May 1 it will close its store at the Fallbrook Mall in Canoga Park, eliminating 150 part-time and 34 full-time jobs.
The closure of the 29-year-old store is part of the struggling retailer’s restructuring plan that includes the shutdown of 113 stores nationwide. Sears said it also plans next month to close its store in Alhambra.
