Former Philadelphia Eagle owner Leonard H. Tose earned a reputation as “the highest” high-roller at an Atlantic City gaming hall, a casino executive testified in Camden, N.J.
The disclosure came as a civil lawsuit filed by Tose against the Sands Hotel Casino entered its third week. Tose contends he lost millions at the blackjack table because he was plied with free drinks and allowed to gamble while drunk. Tose lost $14.6 million between 1981 and 1986, according to court records.
