Support for Police
To the S.O.S. Jesse group in Ventura: If you really want to control and eliminate gang activity and decrease the crime rate, you first must enlarge and support your Police Department. There is no other way unless you patrol the streets yourselves.
This means you must pay for added protection or let the gangs take over like they did in Los Angeles. This city looks a lot like L.A. did 40 years ago and will be the same in another 10 years if you don’t act now.
Second, the City Council must enact a special tax to pay for more police and support the Police Department. There’s nothing better to deter crime and gang activity than uniformed police on patrol.
