Marc E. Bercoon has been named general counsel and corporate secretary of Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc., Los Angeles.
Bercoon, 32, joined the company in 1992 as legal counsel and assistant to the vice chairman.
Carter Hawley operates the Broadway department store chain.
