Gerald Hogan has been named president of Home Shopping Network, the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based cable TV shopping channel. Hogan succeeds HSN founder Roy M. Speer, who will continue as chairman of the board.
Hogan, 47, was most recently vice chairman of Whittle Communications and, before that, was president of Turner Entertainment Networks.
