Two Compton Officers Slain

Shame on Rep. Walter Tucker (D-Compton) for using the funeral of Officer Burrell as a forum for political speech-making. Double shame on Compton Councilwoman Patricia Moore for not only going along with him, but also using the occasion to chastise the law enforcement officers who had assembled from throughout the state to honor a fallen comrade.
Kudos to The Times for not publishing their diatribe (March 2).
