VIEWPOINT MIGHTY DUCK LETTERS : Will Team Be Mickey Mouse or More of a Magic Kingdom?

In naming the Anaheim expansion hockey team the Mighty Ducks, Mr. Eisner has made an egregious miscalculation. He has succeeded in owning the only hockey franchise that the Hansen brothers would not play for.
Orange County suffers from terminally low sports self-esteem to start with. We already have one duck franchise in Anaheim, currently called the Angels. Mr. Eisner is so clouded by dollar signs that we now have the privilege of being the brunt of jokes from Anaheim to Canada.
Can’t you hear ESPN showing hockey highlights and saying, “Let’s roll the Duck tape.”
