Rancho Santiago’s Errors Lift Fullerton

Fullerton won its Orange Empire Conference baseball game Saturday against Rancho Santiago, 15-8, but the host Dons should be credited with an assist.
Rancho Santiago committed 10 errors, resulting in 13 unearned runs for Fullerton (8-7, 1-2 in conference).
Things started fine for Rancho Santiago (11-3, 2-2), which scored three times in the first and four more in the second to lead, 7-2.
But Fullerton scored seven runs, all unearned, in the fourth to go ahead, 9-7.
Scott Myers, who relieved starter Damon Newman to begin the third, was the winner. Myers (2-0) allowed six hits and no runs in 5 2/3 innings.
