THE RAPE OF BOSNIA
“Testimony” was as shocking an account of human disgrace and intense evil as I have ever read. It makes one shudder at the horrors that man is capable of. The stories bring the words of American Gen. William T. Sherman--”War is hell”--to a vivid, disgusting reality.
Bosnia is clearly a case of deep ethnic hatred and the inability of “different” peoples to live together in peace. Are you listening, South Africa, Israel--even Los Angeles? Those responsible for such rape and slaughter--Slobodan Milosevic, the Chetnik officers corps and Stojan, the camp guard--must be held accountable before the World Court.
