Canadians Kurt Browning and Elvis Stojko set up their medal duel, taking the two top spots in the men’s qualifying rounds at the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague.
Browning, who won the world championship three times before faltering last year, earned scores of 5.6 to 5.9, making him the slight favorite over Stojko, who hit a rut in the ice toward the end of his routine and fell.
Americans Mark Mitchell and Scott Davis were third and fourth, respectively, in Browning’s group.
