Navy Aircraft Pact: Elsinore Aerospace Services said Monday that it has won a $28-million contract to provide maintenance for the Navy’s fleet of TC-4C training aircraft.
The five-year contract requires Elsinore to maintain and give logistical support for aircraft based at the Naval Air Stations in Oceana, Va., and Whidbey Island, Wash. The company plans to hire about 40 people--20 at each base--spokeswoman Pam Malouf said.
Elsinore, which provides commercial aviation services, is a limited partnership owned by Air/Lyon Inc., an aviation services company based in Newport Beach.
