Deficit Fix

Here’s a quick fix for the national deficit. Instead of forced taxation, why not appeal to base instincts and institute a national lottery? At $10 a ticket and a handsome grand prize of $1 million tax-free dollars, this voluntary tax, drawn biweekly or whatever, would chip away at the deficit sure and steady. And it would be a lot more fun.
