TEAM MATES? Rep. Christopher Cox (R-Newport Beach) and Rebecca Range both worked at the Nixon White House, but it wasn’t until much later that they fell in love and married. Now they’ve got something new to talk about: He is against closing the El Toro Marine base (B1), and she has been named to an independent commission to review military base closures. But Rebecca Cox, now a Continental Airlines executive, has said she won’t participate in decisions on any bases in her husband’s district.
