7TH DISTRICT : Magana Leads Hall in Campaign Funds
- Share via
In the crowded race to replace Ernani Bernardi in the Los Angeles City Council seat for the 7th District, Raymond Magana is the first candidate to raise more than $50,000, the city Ethics Commission said Tuesday.
That puts Magana, an attorney, ahead of reputed front runner Lyle Hall, a fire captain who ran second to Bernardi in the race four years ago.
Statistics on the precise amounts raised by each of the candidates in the race will be available Thursday, when candidates must file reports.
