Because of the renovation of the Coliseum, the Raiders will play all of their 1993 exhibition games on the road.
When the project to reconfigure the seating of the 70-year-old structure is complete, the stadium will have a capacity of about 68,000 for Raider games. The club has been assured everything will be in place for the start of the regular season.
The Raiders will begin exhibition play in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio, against the Green Bay Packers on July 31.
In ensuing weeks, they will play the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and the Rams. Specific dates and times have not been set.
