Capital Plastered: Guerrilla artist Robbie Conal is at it again. Conal and pals plastered the state capital on Monday morning with hundreds of posters depicting Gov. Pete Wilson in Mickey Mouse ears and a Mickey Mouse Club sweater, surrounded by smiling yellow happy faces. Says Conal: “Pete Wilson’s idea of California’s children is stuck in a 1950s propaganda fantasyland--happy white kids in the club house. . . . He’s sabotaging California’s future, the education of our children, to balance the budget.” Angelenos got early previews of the poster, which showed up in Hollywood over the weekend.
