OXNARD : Suspect in Rape of Girl Surrenders

A Somis man suspected in the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old Oxnard girl turned himself in Tuesday, Oxnard police said.
Juan Carlos Coronado, 29, was booked on suspicion of rape and assault with a deadly weapon. The girl was taken from a parking lot at Mandalay State Beach in Oxnard on Oct. 26. A second suspect, Raul Oscar Alamar, 29, is in the Ventura County Jail awaiting trial.
