SIMI VALLEY : Visitors Can Watch Principals in Action
- Share via
Simi Valley business people and other community leaders can shadow a principal Monday to learn about the city’s schools and what it takes to run them.
Almost all of the Simi Valley Unified School District’s 27 principals have been paired with a community member who will follow them on regular duties from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There is room for three or four more participants in the event, said Dr. Susan Parks, assistant superintendent of educational services.
After lunch, the group will meet at the Sequoia Junior High School library to share experiences and observations, Parks said. Last year was the first time the district held the event. For information, call 520-6570.
