Burbank Coach Cook Resigns

Citing differences with school administrators, Burbank High boys’ basketball Coach Fred Cook has resigned after four years in the position, he said Tuesday.
“I don’t want to get into what was wrong, we just couldn’t work some things out,” Cook said. “It was hard leaving the kids, but with all that other stuff going on I had to.”
Cook, 33, said he will continue to teach biology at the school. He was 27-60 during his tenure, including 9-15 this season.
School officials were unavailable for comment.
