MOORPARK : Volunteers Sought for Country Days

The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help plan the city’s annual Country Days celebration, scheduled for Oct. 2.
Anyone interested in helping out or heading one of the committees supervising specific events or activities is urged to attend a meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Moorpark Unified School District offices, 30 Flory St., said Carolyn Schrimpf, chamber administrative assistant.
“Every little thing that has to do with Country Days needs someone organizing it,” Schrimpf said.
Country Days features a parade, 75 to 100 vendors lining High Street and live entertainment.
Last year, between 5,000 and 6,000 people turned out for the event.
