‘Ghostwriter’ Renewed: Meanwhile, PBS, also making efforts to comply with the Children’s Television Act, has renewed “Ghostwriter” for a second season, committing $1.8 million for 24 new episodes to begin this fall. The mystery-adventure program, which encourages reading and writing as empowering skills that are also fun, comes from the Children’s Television Workshop, producers of “Sesame Street.”
