Gang Activities

I am writing regarding the column written by ACLU attorneys Paul Hoffman and Mark Silverstein called “Safe Streets Don’t Require Lifting Rights” (Column Left, March 11). The American Civil Liberties Union must live in some kind of a fantasy land. Does the ACLU really believe gang members are out patching the family’s roof, fixing bicycles, etc.?
