Three-Vehicle Crash Kills Six Near Fresno

BIOLA, Calif. — Six people died Monday in a traffic accident involving a tanker truck, a pickup truck and another vehicle, authorities said.
The accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of California 145 and Shaw Avenue near this Fresno-area town. The intersection was closed and traffic was rerouted, according to a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman.
There was no immediate word on what caused the accident. Names of the victims had not been released.
