Lesbian Comedian on ‘Arsenio’: Lesbian comedian Lea DeLaria, who recently performed her act to sold-out houses at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, will make broadcast history of sorts when she guests on the Arsenio Hall show Tuesday. “This will make her the first openly queer performer, doing queer material, on network TV,” said Jordan Peimer, administrative director of Highways, a leading presenter of gay performance work. “It’s pretty exciting and important to the gay community.”
