Injured: Juliet Stevenson, co-star of “Scenes From an Execution” at the Mark Taper Forum, missed the Tuesday preview because of a back injury she suffered while climbing a scaffold during Sunday evening’s preview. Understudy Marcia Firesten performed the role Tuesday, carrying script in hand. At press time, it was undecided whether Stevenson would perform on Wednesday but critics were asked to attend on Thursday instead of Wednesday. Theatergoers on Tuesday were given the option of requesting ticket exchanges or refunds.
