BankAmerica Seeks to Sell Debt Securities: BankAmerica Corp., the parent of Bank of America, has filed with the SEC to sell as much as $3 billion of debt securities, preferred stock and warrants to purchase debt and common shares. The San Francisco-based company said it may issue the securities periodically on terms to be released at the time of sale.
