The Public Library will be closed from April 7 through 25 while workers replace the central air-conditioning system.
Officials said patrons may return books to the bins alongside the library on Garey Avenue and on 7th Street while the building is closed. Audiovisual materials cannot be left in the bins, but arrangements to return them can be made by calling the library.
During the closure, the library will offer limited research services by telephone from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday at (909) 620-2043.
Officials said the library is expected to reopen April 26. Its regular hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Friday and Sunday.
