Los Alamitos Beats Loara in Swimming

ANAHEIM — Geof Olson and Eric Ploessel each won two events as Los Alamitos beat Loara, 129-38, in an Empire League boys’ swimming meet at Loara.
Olson won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:57.49 and the 100 butterfly (58.14). Ploessel won the 100 freestyle in 53.00 and the 100 breaststroke (1:03.96).
The two were also a part of Los Alamitos’ 200 freestyle team that won in 1:41.27. Ploessel was also a part of the 400-freestyle relay team that won in 3:48.05.
