ON ICE: Ice-T and Warner Bros. Records--together again? That’s the word from Warner Bros., which acknowledges that the rapper, who split from the company following the lengthy “Cop Killer” controversy, has recorded a version of “Hey Joe” for an upcoming tribute to Jimi Hendrix. Among others said to be signed for the album are Paul McCartney (in collaboration with Steve Winwood), Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Cure, Pretenders, Seal and the Spin Doctors.
