Mike Hill and Jimmy Powell shot five-under-par 67s and Kermit Zarley had a 69 as the three claimed a share of the lead after two rounds of the PaineWebber Invitational senior tournament at Charlotte, N.C.

They all had eight-under-par 136 totals for two trips around the TPC at Piper Glen course. Zarley had been tied for the lead after the first round with Tom Weiskopf, who had a second-round 70. Weiskopf and Dave Stockton, who shot a 69, are one shot back.
