California and NCAA champion North Carolina are among the 16 teams that will play in the Preseason NIT next season. The others are Kansas, Minnesota, Santa Clara, Western Kentucky, Massachusetts, St. John’s, Cincinnati, Rice, Georgia, Cleveland State, Butler, Alabama State, Towson State and Western Michigan.
