ALR Seals Ukraine Deal: Advanced Logic Research Inc. said Wednesday it has a deal to sell as many as 6,000 personal computers to the largest bank in Ukraine. ALR said it teamed with Czech distributor SoNet to win a three-year, multimillion-dollar contract to provide as many as 3,000 PCs to the Industrial Investment Bank of Ukraine by 1996. David Kirkey, vice president of worldwide marketing for Irvine-based ALR, said the sale to the bank in the former Soviet republic is one of the biggest in ALR’s history.
